The original equipment Bosch diverter valves have a bit of a reputation for being feeble. They tend to leak at high boost levels, robbing you of BHP. Since my car has a rather larger power output than
standard, I though it would be prudent to replace them with something a bit more robust. The Bailey Motorsports DV30 valve has been popular with Audi TT owners, where the standard valve seems to have been a particular weak spot. The DV30 is a piston type valve, rather than the standard diaphram type, and can cope with any boost pressure likely to be found on an S4.
I had them sitting around for ages, before they were finally installed during the K04 upgrade
