I must admit that the main reason I wanted to change the exhaust was to make more noise! Any performance benefit I consider a bonus. The Milltek item is just the right volume for me. I haven’t heard any other makes, so I can’t compare with them. There’s a nice burble on tickover, and a hard edged roar when you floor it. Sounds similar in tone to a big sports bike, but not as loud. |

As for the performance, the engine seems to rev more easily, and there is increased urgency at high rpm where before it had seemed to struggle. |
